Call for Volunteers
Haptic InterFace brings together 20 professionals and creative thinkers from different disciplines, cultures and countries to explore the borders between art, science and technology in an innovative trans-disciplinary presentation of new ideas in relation to the body through the creative use of materials and praxis.
Would you like to play a part in Haptic InteFace 2014?
We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing volunteers to join the Haptic InterFace team. The success of this workshop and exhibition depends largely on the support of volunteers.
Volunteers are needed to provide support to our participants during the workshop and the exhibition.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to network with a range of interesting academics at an internationally-recognized teaching and learning workshop. In addition, you will receive:
Access to workshop activities when not on a volunteer shift.
Free meals, snacks, and refreshments during volunteer shifts.
A letter of appreciation from the Haptic InterFace Organizers, for your portfolio and/or resume.
Become part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team made up of dedicated students, faculty, and staff.
You’ll have fun – we promise!
To register as a volunteer, please contact Tricia Flanagan at firstname.lastname@example.org (with Haptic InterFace VOLUNTEER in the subject line). Send us name, phone number, email, department and your availability in Nov/Dec.
The deadline to register is Nov, 2014.
Orientation sessions will be scheduled in late Nov, 2014.
Help make this event a great success!
